How to start up "The Responsive Window"

In the event that all the devices have been stopped (due to power being totally shut off), the following steps should be taken in order to restart "The Responsive Window":

  1. Make sure all programs have been closed.
  2. Open the shortcut on the desktop labeled "ADI Motion Control Debugger".
  3. A window will pop up entitled "Target Selection". Push the RESET button on the side panel of the DSP box, and then click "OK".
  4. You should then find a larger window opening up. Go to "File", and there should be a list of previously loaded files. Click on the file Main.exe. In the event that no such file exists, you need to open the file "C:\Tapper\Tapper\Main.exe".
  5. Finally, below the menubar on the top left corner there should be another button which looks like a down arrow pointing through some text. Click on this button.
  6. Wait for the bottom right hand corner to change from a red background "reset" to a green background "Running". Then minimize the window.
  7. Finally, click on the very last icon on the desktop, which looks like a green tree. This should startup the graphics program. The name of this icon should be a shortcut to shaperot.exe.
