A Knock-Driven Browser

Nisha Checka pushed the analysis further by developing a heuristically-guided correlation algorithm for her MS thesis that improved the accuracy and robustness significantly. Nisha also developed the first application demonstration for this system - a knock-driven browser that could be used to explore our group projects. Still written in MATLAB, we ran this demonstration here at the MIT Media Lab during the spring of 2001, projecting onto and tracking across an internal room-divider window. A Quicktime video is also provided for this demonstration.
