Final Project Proposal

Monday, November 13th: Please bring a 1-page project proposal to class, outlining what you'd like to do for your final project. You don't have to have all of the details worked out, but please describe clearly so that we can give useful feedback about your plan before you get started in earnest.

We have some budget to buy materials (sensors, components, etc.) so please include some ideas about what you think you might need. Ask us if you have any questions about how to build what you have in mind, and we can help you with information about appropriate technology. Please include a short list of materials that you would like to buy for your project in your proposal.

Final Project Presentations

Monday, December 11th: Final projects due. Please bring your controller setup to class, if possible. If your project is not mobile or requires equipment that is too large to move, we can walk to your area (within the Media Lab).

Remember, we are most interested in the control and mapping strategies that you devise for your project. Please leave yourself enough time before class-time to create a mapping, and do some sound design for your interface. You will be expected to demonstrate your interface by playing it for the class.

Also, we would like each student to create a web page documenting their project, including a written description, images and video.
